Styled Product Photography
I had an amazing time working with the talented Montreal prop stylist Autumn Wood Stylist. We were on set for this wonderful shoot creating styled product photography. Julie of Not Sew Strange supplied us with a bunch of her lovely hand made pillows, crib sheets, quilts, dolls and prints and asked us to outfit a room.

Autumn sourced a ton of props that were on-brand and we created several different scenes.
I can just picture my kids in this scene, snuggling up on these pillows or with her art on the wall.
When I started this partnership with Autumn Wood I really had no idea where it would take me. I love the fact that we get to photograph local Montreal-based artists and show off their beautiful products with gorgeous photography to the world. There is nothing worse than spending so many hard hours creating something wonderful and then having less than stellar photography to show it off.
Now Julie has a wonderful bank of photos that she can pull from for use on her website, in a blog post, in a PR mailing, on Facebook, Instagram or any other social media usage. She can write text on them, crop them or leave them as-is. It’s really up to her what she wants to do.
Everyday I feel so grateful that I get to work with such amazing people and create such beautiful scenes. It is a lot of hard work but when I can create something that I feel is so valuable and beneficial it really is worth it. When I create real, honest and engaging styled product photography it’s a powerful tool my clients can use across all their platforms to tell the story of their products and show it off to the world.
