I love providing my families with lifestyle photography because it means not only can I provide them with beautiful memories of what they looked like but I also get to show the family connections and love. I get to show what it was like to snuggle with your toddler, hold your crying baby in close, or giving a big hug to your children.
How did it feel as you looked in their little eyes and saw their wonder of the world? Or when you collapsed in giggles on the bed?
What were those long long hours like when you rocked your baby in the chair feeding them?
How did you feel when you picked up your child and held them close?
(Seriously, I’m practically getting weepy writing these words)
I want show you not only what it looked like but how it felt. That’s some powerful stuff I know, but I hope that when you look at your photos there will be emotion involved as you remember those moments.
You’ll remember the beauty and the chaos. I do absolutely love a good portrait, but I just love showing the family interactions too.
This family was stunning to photograph and I am so lucky to have been invited into their home to tell their story right now.
