One of the major reasons I wanted to become a headshot photographer with studio was because I saw a huge gap in the market for the type of photography that I myself was looking for. Relaxed photography that was a little bit more modern and a little bit more me but still beautiful. I wanted it to be in studio so there were no issues with weather or light. Most of all I wanted it to be EASY. Because that's exactly what I would want.
I have continually tweaked and refined my entire process. I now offer two options. One is a Headshot Day where participants are one after another and benefit from a slightly reduced price. The other is a custom headshot where they are alone in the studio and have more scheduling options.
All sessions come with a detailed prep guide to remind you of all the important points and clear communication so that when you show up on the day of your session you are fully ready and know what to expect.
The studio is large with lots of furniture options and plenty of natural light. If you'd like hair and makeup it can be right on site so you don't have to worry about arranging it or getting your hair messed up.
I added on Wardrobe Styling with Amanda Eaman because I could see that this was a pain point for my clients. I decided to go to Amanda because a) she's awesome and the expert and b) I knew that with my current workload I could not be as dedicated as I would want to this task. Feedback has been phenomenal and I know that this service is very much appreciated.
Something else that is really important to me is open communication about headshot style. Every brand and person is unique, and a lot of my clients have strong opinions about what they want their photos to look like. By being open about the style of photo, I am better able to serve my clients and create images they love.
