Have you ever heard of a senior photography session? They are a very popular type of session in the United States that is gaining traction here in Montreal. It is a session after you graduate from Secondary School (or Cegep) before you embark on the next stage of your life. There is no cap and gown. Your personality and energy are on show through every photo.
What is a senior photography session?
- Natural photos
- Clothing that matches grads personality
- No cap and gown
- Usually of the grad only
- A location that matches the grads personality
Madeleine is an American that has made her home all over the world and called Montreal home for her Grade 12 graduation. Most of her friends in the States were getting Senior Photography Sessions and she wanted one that would embrace her new city of Montreal.
We decided to have her session in Old Montreal and we did a walk around the area from the Basilica to the Clock Tower taking in some of my favourite locations along the way.
I love how her images reflect her personality AND her new city. I can't wait to see what she does next!
