Did you know my boudoir photography page is my TOP looked at page on my website? But I book far more newborn, family, maternity and headshots. Here is whey the I need to argument is crap. When I ask people about boudoir photography, many tell me that they would love to but they just need to...
- lose 10 pounds
- tone up
- get a tan
- get the right clothes
- walk the dog
- buy a new dishwasher
- fold the socks
- pick their nose

OK so obviously these are not all real responses, but they are all crap. Yes, I'm saying it. The 'I need to' argument is crap.
Here's why.
First off - you are perfect just the way you are.
For real.
Second - I promise you if you lose those 10 pounds or fold those socks there will just be something else around the corner.
Because let's get real - this is all about vulnerability and we don't like saying that we are vulnerable. Because that's.... vulnerable.
I'm not here to convince you to book me but I am here to say it's OK to be vulnerable and it's also OK to jump in head first and take the plunge into something that's a little scary but could be a lot fun and empowering.
And do you know what - if you do lose those 10 pounds or buy that dishwasher you can always do another shoot because after the first one is so fun you might just want to book a second.
I've done a shit load of hard things in my life that I knew would be worth it. I don't regret taking those leaps for a minute. To grow you have to get out of that comfort zone. You don't grow by sitting on the couch watching Netflix all day. Even if it's not boudoir photography, take a chance and do that thing that you've always wanted to do. The odds you'll regret doing the thing is very little.
K enough said. Contact me if you want details ladies!
