Most, but not all, of the business photography I do is Photography for Entrepreneurs. As an entrepreneur you are often times selling who you are as much as your service or your product and people want to see the face behind the business.
What I love about the photography that I do is that I create something specialized for each client. Each client gets a wardrobe consult with Amanda Eaman who is a local stylist. That way they can wear something they feel great in and represents their business.
I also ask for inspiration photos so I can understand the vibe each client is looking for. Often times when I see a collection of images there are certain themes that emerge. For example, sometimes the subject is always sitting, or is in a bit of a power pose, or is looking away. It is always interesting to see these themes emerge.
Chairs, furniture and props all come into play in my photos and I am constantly moving furniture for the light and to position the body in the most flattering pose.
