I never started out my photography business thinking I would do Headshots for Women. I focused on family photography and I loved what I was doing.
The reason that I never wanted to do Headshots for Women is because it wasn't me. Backdrops are not my thing, and I don't love stiff poses. My breakthrough came when I realized I did not have to do any of those things. Now, I create headshots that I love without using backdrops and by using fun but flattering poses.
My process has been fine tuned and tweaked by photographing many many women. My guide has changed to reflect what I felt was missing and I send emails regularly to make sure you are ready and on track.
Hair and makeup is optional, but nearly everyone takes it. On-site, it means you don't have to run out in the rain and cold.
I have three options for you:
Headshot Days - set days where other clients are on-site
Custom Headshots - more flexibility and no other clients on-site
Branding - longer sessions that can be on-location or in studio. Usually we have more props and set ups.
