I've photographed many, many families and have seen-it-all. Let's face it - this is a stressful time in your life. Siblings are acting up, baby is crying, your boobs hurt and everything seems dirty. You are exhausted and don't feel like yourself. But, you also recognize how beautiful this time is and want to capture the beautiful fleeting moments.
I get that.
And that's why I want you to use the time I am with you to slow down. Breathe in your baby. Take the time to relax and hold them close. I'm not going to lie - it's not always a peaceful process - but there are definitely moments of peace and relaxation and that's what I want to capture.
When you look at your photos I want you to remember joy and love.
Location
Your photoshoots can take place in your own home or in my St-Henri studio. Many families prefer one or the other and both have benefits. I do not use backdrops or props for either location.
Outfits
Over the years of photographing babies I noticed that no one invests in newborn clothing and babies would always be swimming in too large clothing. Parents - it is HARD to find nice newborn clothing. I am ALWAYS scouring for it but to find actual newborn clothes is not easy. I have a selection of newborn clothes and swaddles and also many up to 3 months.
Wardrobe Advice
Don't feel like co-ordinating your family wardrobe? I get it - that's why there is 1:1 wardrobe advice with a local stylist who can make sure you all look your best and take some of the doubt away.
