I am really loving my newborn sessions right now and so happy to offer in-home sessions as a South Shore Baby Photographer
Why do an in-home newborn session?
- You will literally never regret getting photos done. They will make you cry. You will capture your memories. You (AND YOUR KIDS) will look back on them for years. Do it. Take the photos. Somehow.
- If you hire a professional (hopefully me!) we will be able to find the light, and craft those beautiful intimate timeless images you will love forever.
- Make sure you find someone whose photos you love! Please don't *just* hire on price.
- In-home sessions tend to be more intimate and often tell more of a story (the above image is a great example of a storytelling image). it brings to life this time in your life right now.
- All your diapers, wipes, etc. are on hand. It's often easier if you have other kids to do an in-home session as they can do their own thing.
- Do you have a partner that needs to work? In-home sessions are perfect as we can pull them out or arrange around their work schedule.
What I offer as a newborn photographer
- 8 years of experience photographing in ALL types of homes. Do NOT worry about your home or the light - I've probably already shot in something similar (unless you painted all your walls neon green - then let's talk)
- Swaddles and outfits that I bring to you AND you can view ahead of time online
- Wardrobe styling with a local stylist - yes - she's a real local person that can help you out!
- Dresses you can borrow (Like the one above from my client closet)
- Easy booking, payment, contracts, prep guides
- CLEAR and concise communication
- I have a TON of reviews. I have shot a LOT of families. I'm sure you know someone I've shot somewhere that can tell you it's actually pretty great.
- I have someone (local!) that can help you put together an album.
What I do NOT offer as a newborn photographer
- Props, backgrounds, posed baby wrapped in a basket photos. These can be lovely - they are just not my thing and are a different approach.
- Lots of brightly coloured clothes. I am more into neutral and muted tones
- A ton of traditional looking at the photo images. I will take a few, but the majority will be interactions.
- Winging it. I do not wing it. If you want someone who won't send you emails or guide you I'm probably not for you.
- Not newborn related but I don't do cake smashes with a ton of balloon arches, baptisms or birthdays It's just not my jam.
