A long time ago I decided that I wanted to create a very special experience for all my families who request Newborn Photos. Why? This is already such a hectic, frantic time in your life that you do not need anything that is stressful added on top.
Plus, a horrible time during your sessions means that is all you will remember when you look at your photos.
Newborn Photos Location
Choose the location that works best for you. This can be in your own home or in my studio which is set up like a living room. I do not use backdrops or props in my studio.
Wardrobe
Many of my families would panic at the last minute over wardrobe and often pull clothes out of the laundry. In addition, I know that you don't want to spend money on those teeny tiny newborn size clothes. As a result, usually the clothes were too big and rode up around the neck. Not great. That's why I've invest in a neutral, modern newborn wardrobe. You can see the selection here. The result is beautiful. Clothing is co-ordinate, well fitting and stain free. Parents are happy and relaxed.
Communication
I'll admit it, my communication is very thorough. I'll send frequent emails reminding you about your session so that you are prepared. Keep in mind that I usually repeat the same lines over and over. Why? I know that you may not read all my emails so if you just read one you get it.
