When Lauren contacted me about photography at her Westmount home, I was super excited because after a few back and forth emails it become clear that she was totally on-board with my relaxed and candid style of photography.
She was all about capturing those real facial expressions (and her family was AMAZING with facial expressions), honest moments and loving family connections.
We definitely did some more formal posed shots to, like I do in every session and those photos were just so lovely too.
But there’s just something about capturing the amazing everyday moments.
And her little boy was wonderful as well. I love his hair! Those are the things you want to remember. Crazy hair in the front and all straight in the back.
It was very important that I captured the special bond between her little boy and his grandparents and that bond was evident from the moment I walked in. These grandparents were amazing and totally in love with their grandson.
The whole family was pretty darn special and you could really feel the absolute adoration for this little boy.
