I loved photographing this family who let me into their lives to capture their little routines and adventures around Montreal. We really did capture a slice of their life right now with twin toddlers.
Through my easy questionnaire they were able to let me know what was really important to them right now and what they wanted to capture in their images. Hide and seek (which was amazing and full of energy) and reading were big ones for these kids. But they also did quieter activities too like playing with blocks, and showing me their favourite toys.
After that we headed to their favourite park so they could show me how well they climbed and explored.
Next up, heading for croissants at their favourite local bakery. This is undeniably a favourite activity here in Montreal to do with kids and so many of the families I photograph list getting croissants or bagels as part of their weekend routine with kids.
After it was time to just relax, have a snack and enjoy each others company.
I really loved truly catching a slice of this families life right now and it was so much fun being a fly on the wall, especially at the bakery where I took sneaky shots in between all the customers to capture the kids in a totally candid way.
