Montreal Daycare Photographer
When I was first asked to be a Montreal Daycare Photographer I wasn’t so sure about it. All I pictured was cheesy smiles with a laser background (anyone else have a few of those images floating around?)
Then I realized that I didn’t have to do it that way! What a freeing thought. I decided on a classic, grey background and knew that I would photograph children as they are. YES, I would try and make them smile but do it naturally. And for those kids who weren’t down with it, aren’t pensive portraits just as beautiful?
Personally, it’s very fulfilling for me to be able to provide so many people with a beautiful portrait that they might not otherwise have had. And although yes, it is as exhausting as you might imagine, it is a lot of fun too.
I’m so lucky I get to do what I do and meet so many great kids. I do really get to know their little faces after writing their names out, taking their photos, editing their images and fulfilling their orders and I recognize them around town too.
