Are you interested in a Blossom Mini Session in Montreal? I hear you! There's a lot to know about these type of sessions so let's dig right in. I definitely do these sessions differently than other photographers.
Blossom Mini Session in Montreal
I do not advertise a weekend in advance. Honestly, I just find that way to stressful from my end. Blossoms are unpredictable and I don't want to have to move everyone. Instead, I check the blossoms and send out a newsletter with accurate times.
The newsletter will likely give sessions 2 days + in advance. For the last two years the blossoms have only lasted for 10 days. It depends on the weather and the wind.
I do my sessions in a central Montreal park - not an orchard. Why?
-I can frequently check the blossoms allowing for accurate dates
-Way more convenient for families living in the area
There are plusses and minuses for doing the session in a public park.
+Park is easy to access
+No entry
-there are other people and you may need to be patient
-from my end there can be a lot of editing removing other people, garbage cans and litter
For me, I know personally I probably wouldn't drive to an orchard for a session. Living in Central Montreal everything is convenient and we usually just walk or do a short drive or bus everywhere. I figure this is probably what my families are into as well.
If you are interested in doing a Blossom Mini Session in Montreal please sign up to my newsletter. These are advertised via newsletter and will likely sell out.
I will also be offering other types of themed sessions this year.
