Home Newborn Photography
- No need to move locations (especially if it's winter this is nice!)
- You have everything you need in your own home
- Tends to have more shadow and a darker tone which gives more emotion
- Because it is in your own home it will automatically carry greater memories
- More of a storytelling element to the session
- Tends to be longer because I need time to set up plus I always move furniture
In-home sessions work especially well for albums as it will really tell the story of this time in your life.
I have outfits and swaddles for both studio and home sessions.

One of the biggest questions I get asked is that people are worried their home isn't big enough, nice enough or have enough light.
I photograph in all sorts of homes and I guarantee that size of home does not mean a larger home gets more light. In fact many very large home get very little light because the distance to the windows is larger.
It doesn't matter to me how large your home is. I can create an entire session in a living room or bedroom. All I really need is one good window with light.
And lastly, for this worried about their home not being decorated enough. This is your home and these pictures are for you. These are your memories. I don't think the home I grew up in was decorated at all (sorry mom) but I still like seeing pictures of it.
