If you want to work with me but my pricing is out of your budget here are a few options:
-Wait until baby is 3 months old. You then can participate in either a 30 minute session or a mini session. Mini sessions are advertised via my newsletter. Please sign up to my newsletter for info on all mini session. You'll also be entered to win a free studio session.
-Participate in a creative shoot. Creative shoots can be held all year but are mostly done in my slower winter months. Creative shoots are for me to test a new location, lighting a new concept or show off wardrobe. They are a way for me to experiment without the pressure of a paying client. In return you get a set number of images. You must be OK with handing over creative direction (including wardrobe, location, etc.) and be OK with video and photos used on my social media, website, newsletter and Pinterest. You are not able to go through the photos and veto any before hand. If this sounds interesting, please follow me on Instagram. These opportunities are shared via Instagram stories.
Out of your budget?
Here are my options for you.
The Process
Booking and Preparation
I recommend booking around your 20 week scan. We'll book your due date and then move it from there.
After you book, I'll send you a welcome email filled with info plus a prep guide. A couple weeks before your session the stylist will be in touch. If you want she can get in touch earlier.
01
Session
My newborn sessions are relaxed and done at baby's pace. You'll be guided so you don't know have to know how to 'do' anything.
02
Photo Delivery
After your session your gallery will be delivered in 1-2 weeks. If you want you can work with an album designer to create an album.

FAQ
Can we do a mini session for my newborn?
When do I book my session?
I want to set you up for success and providing you a short window for photos will not provide for a very enjoyable experience or many photos. Think about how long it takes just to feed, burp and change your baby. Newborn sessions take time, and there's just no way around that. I consider a newborn a baby up to 3 months old.
If you haven't yet given birth, we book it for 7 days after your due date and move it from there depending on how you feel.
When is the best time for newborn photos?
What's better - studio or in-home sessions?
I do not pose or prop babies so I do not need to stick to the 14 day old window. Having said that, younger babies tend to have more sleepy photos whereas you can usually expect more wide-eyed photos when they are older. It really depends on how you feel as well.
In short, studio sessions tend to be lighter, airier and more portrait-focused. In-home sessions tend to have a little moodier feel, have more emotion and tell more of a story.
If you are worried about the way your home looks, or concerned about the quality of light don't worry about that. I've photographed in pretty much every type of home and they all work out.
Those tiny fingers, the wisps of hair, the way your baby feels in your arms...
As your Montreal Newborn Photographer I try to capture in my lens what you are feeling right now.
In order for you to feel relaxed at your session I make sure you are fully prepared before hand with wardrobe advice, prep guides, clear communication and newborn wardrobe. So all you need to do is enjoy your baby!
